Dogs truly are the best companion and I have been fortunate to have grown up and owned dogs (and cats) for most of my life.
Having grown up in Somerset I have had the luxury of visiting most of the beautiful countryside that is on offer.
I have always loved being outside and what better excuse than to walk with a dog or two!
Hi, I’m Ronnie – founder of The WAG. I live in Taunton with my husband Chris, our two boys, our Border Collie Lottie, Labrador Ruby, and three rescue cats.
With 14 years of experience in local veterinary practices—both clinical and admin—I’ve worked hands-on with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes.
I understand that every pet is unique, with their own needs and quirks.
While I loved my time in the veterinary world, I felt drawn to a more active role in promoting animal wellness. Becoming a dog walker allowed me to support owners in keeping their pets happy, healthy, and well-exercised.
The WAG launched in November 2021 as a professional, reliable and personalised dog walking service.
My goal is simple: to provide tailored, trustworthy care that suits both you and your dog perfectly.
I have seen first-hand how regular walking can vastly improve their physical health, energy, skin, coat and overall temperament.
For the more high energy dogs, stimulating dog walks are a great release tool that reduces anxiety and improves behaviour.
